About Kate: I’m Kate Jamie and I am currently serving as Assistant Curate in the Diocese of Durham – in two parishes in Easington (this is where they filmed Billy Elliot if you know the film), in the North East of England.  I was ordained Deacon and then Priest at Durham Cathedral and, although I’m from the South of England, I love living and working in the North East.  I am married to Matt, who is an Actor and Photographer, and we are both delighted to be coming over to Australia.  I feel especially privileged to be able to be with you on placement, and I am most excited about getting to know you all and learning all about St Peter’s Cathedral.  Thank you again for having me!
