Internationally celebrated organist Dr. Joseph Nolan presents two of the grandest masterworks of the organ repertoire: Charles-Marie Widor’s 6th Organ Symphony, and The Sonata on the 94th Psalm by Julius Reubke.
Joseph Nolan, hailed by ABC Classic as an “extraordinary musician,” has a far-reaching reputation for his interpretations of the symphonies of Widor. His recordings of Widor’s complete organ works, for Signum Classics, were reviewed by Gramophone magazine as “superb,” demonstrating “total mastery of the score”, and “the current yardstick for all Widor recordings.”
