The photographer writes: "Sometimes, industrial photography crosses over into something else. Something more ethereal than merely the product of machines melding metal, which my commercial work provides in spades. Something offering images invoking a visceral response. Moreover, something of significant historical value. When the final stages of the St Peter's Cathedral Organ restoration project was playing out, I knew immediately this was just such an event."
