On September 21 2017, St Peter’s Anglican Cathedral will be hosting a day of prayers, reflection and candle-lighting on the occasion of the United Nations International Day of Peace.
During the day various church communities will hold prayer and reflection times in the Cathedral – these communities will be ecumenically diverse.
In the evening, at 7pm, there will be a multi-faith event coordinated by Rob Croser, of Adelaide’s Independent Theatre, and involving representatives of different faith traditions in our community.
This service will be attended by His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia.
The day of activities are being co-sponsored by the South Australian branch of the United Nations Association of Australia.
